Angles and frequencies, end to end
Trigonometry wants radians, drawings are dimensioned in degrees, and some survey instruments still read in gradians. Arc minutes and arc seconds turn up in astronomy and in geographic coordinates, where a rounding slip moves you down the road.
Frequency covers an enormous span — a few hertz on a shaker table, kilohertz in audio, gigahertz on a radio link — and revolutions per minute sits alongside it for anything that spins. Keeping the whole range in one list saves a lot of counting zeros.
