PPSM files • Max 25MB per file • Up to 10 files
Both formats, briefly
PPSMIN
PPSM pairs the two PowerPoint extras: it opens straight into the show and it can run VBA macros. That combination suits self running displays and interactive training that has to react to the viewer with nobody at the keyboard. As with any macro file, it should come from a source you trust.
POTOUT
POT is the template PowerPoint used before the XML formats arrived. It holds the same thing, a reusable set of masters and color choices, in the older binary layout. Most surviving POT files sit in company template libraries that nobody has moved forward yet.
